Local artist Jane Martin is among a select group of artists featured in the exhibition “The Matter of Loss”, currently on display at the Art Gallery of Ontario.

The works in the exhibition explore the difficult experiences of loss in terms of memory, history, and physical absence.  This exhibition was inspired by Jane Martin’s drawing series, “Something Happened”, which documents the terminal illness of her husband.

“The Matter of Loss” is on display in the Art Gallery of Ontario, Gallery 133 (adjacent to photography), 317 Dundas Street West, until July 19.
