This is a City-initiated Official Plan Amendment for the Distillery District, the Triangle Lands and portions of the West Don Lands (as outlined in the key map). The purpose of the amendment is to: provide direction on an appropriate massing and building typology on the remaining developable sites; protecting the utility of open spaces from new shadows; maintaining the cultural heritage values of the area’s heritage buildings; and promoting various transportation modes to reduce vehicular traffic impacts.
